The Sun Devils wrapped up the first day of the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational by sending two to the semifinals. With a busy Friday afternoon, four Sun Devils wrestled in the evening for a chance to earn a spot on the mats Saturday morning. Here's how it played out:
149lb - Kyle Parco
Set as the No. 2 seed, Parco pitched a shutout in the round of 32 with an 11-0 major decision over Purdue's Marcos Polanco. He followed this up almost exactly with an 11-1 major decision over Cornell's Ethan Fernandez.
