Oregon climbs with the return of its quarterback and USC shows it can compete under an interim coach.
Here are the Week 8 power rankings:
1. Utah (6-0, 3-0 in Pac-12)
The Utes still are deserving of the top spot as the Pac-12 only unbeaten with a No. 6 (Sagarin) strength of schedule. But if ASU can slow RB Devontae Booker, at least until a stat-padding 62-yarder after the game was decided, then USC or Stanford in a potential championship game could do the same and maybe QB Travis Wilson won't have the success he had against the Sun Devils.
