As non-conference play finally wraps up and a new slate of Pac-12 games begin, we begin our power rankings for basketball in 2018.
Only a small sample of head-to-head in the Pac-12 is available, but we’ve learned much from it and some terrific non-con games as well.
Here’s how the conference stacks up:
Pac-12 Power Rankings: Jan. 2
Rank | Madden | Tonis |
---|---|---|
Rank | Madden | Tonis |
1 | ASU | Arizona |
2 | Arizona | ASU |
3 | UCLA | UCLA |
4 | Utah | Utah |
5 | USC | Washington |
6 | Oregon | USC |
7 | Washington | Oregon |
8 | Colorado | Oregon State |
9 | Oregon State | WSU |
10 | WSU | Colorado |
11 | California | California |
12 | Stanford | Stanford |
Madden: Though I certainly believe Arizona is the more talented team, ASU has absolutely earned the number one spot in the power rankings because of their impressive resumé, one that is far better than U of A’s.
