Oregon State baseball knocked former Beaver Kai Murphy out after 2 1/3 innings Sunday in an 11-4 win over Arizona State.
The Beavers hit two homers and scored five runs in the second at Phoenix Municipal Stadium and led 5-1 when Murphy (1-1), who pitched at Oregon State in 2020 before transferring, exited.
Oregon State (32-16, 14-10 Pac-12) won the final game of the series after losing 9-6 and 11-5 in the first two. ASU dropped to 30-16, 14-10 with a five-game win streak ending.
ASU scored a run in the second inning but left four men on base in the first two frames against Jake Pfennigs (4-0), who pitched five innings.
