Oregon nips Arizona State in triple overtime

With the game on the line, Oregon sophomore Arrion Springs came up with the big play.

The Oregon cornerback intercepted Arizona State's Mike Bercovici in the end zone, securing a wild 61-55 triple-overtime win Thursday night at Sun Devil Stadium.

Losing a game coach Todd Graham called a “must-win,” ASU dropped to 4-4 and 2-3 in the Pac-12. Looking ahead, the Sun Devils now have to win twice in four games to reach bowl eligibility.

Oregon improved to 5-3 and 3-2.

BOX SCORE: Oregon 61, Arizona State 55 (3OT)

Starting off the third overtime, Oregon junior Bralon Addison gave the Ducks the lead with a 20-yard catch in the back of the end zone.
