career double-double and the No. 9 Arizona State women’s basketball won its fifth consecutive game, defeating Washington State 61-39 on Friday night.
Brunner finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Arnecia Hawkins added 11 points and three assists for the Sun Devils (23-4, 14-1 Pac-12), who remained perfect at home in conference play (8-0).
“I thought that was a great team win,” said ASU head coach Charli Turner Thorne said. “We’ve been having a lot of fun.”
The Sun Devils jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead and never looked back.
