TEMPE – Sun Devil Men's Tennis (5-5) could not hang on against No. 7 USD on Sunday in the 4-3 defeat. Had the Sun Devils clinched the doubles point after a tiebreak on court three, their three straight wins to open singles play would have been enough for the victory.
The lone doubles win of the match came from #56 Bor Artnak and Matic Dimic, who downed USD's #55-ranked pair 6-4, improving to 6-3 as a pair on the year.
Despite the early deficit, ASU came out firing, winning four of six first sets in singles.
