Santa Cruz, Calif. – The No. 7 Arizona State men’s golf team is slated to wrap up regular season play this week at the 70th annual Western Intercollegiate Golf Championship held Apr. 11-13, at the nationally-ranked, par-70, 6616-yard Pasatiempo Golf Club.
Since its inception in 1947, the Sun Devils have captured the tournament’s team title four times (last in 1977). Four players while donning the Maroon include have medaled at the event, with Scott Watkins in 1979 representing the last.
Hosted by San Jose State, the event boasts a quality field, featuring six of the top-25 teams in the country, three of which are in the top-10.
