No. 5 Arizona State baseball suffered its second straight loss Friday night, falling 10-6 in the series opener at USC.
Already up 3-1, the Trojans added three more runs in the fourth off ASU starter Alec Marsh. The Sun Devils cut the lead to 6-3 with two runs in the sixth before USC came right back with three runs in its half of the sixth.
ASU loaded the bases with one out in the seventh before leading power hitters Spencer Torkelson and Hunter Bishop struck out.
