FRANKLIN, Tenn. – With 4-5 holes remaining, No. 4 Arizona State women's golf held the top spot, surpassed late by Arkansas (273/-15) and host-Vanderbilt (275/-13), and are currently in third place in the Mason Rudolph Women's Championship standings following an 11-under 277 as a team on day one.
"We had a very solid day one today," said head coach Missy Farr-Kaye. "Anytime you get to throw out an even par round, it's a good day. That being said, we know we left some shots out there. Our team competed well and we are looking forward to tomorrow.
