TEMPE, Ariz.- No. 25 Arizona State (6-3) led Cal Poly (4-3) from start to finish, defeating the Mustangs 4-0 on Sunday to finish the two-game weekend homestand on a winning note. The Sun Devils have now won five of six home matches at Whiteman Tennis Center this season.
"Tough loss yesterday," head coach Sheila Mclnerney said. "But I thought our kids didn't play the greatest doubles point, but rebounded really well and got off to really good starts in singles and just kept their foot on the gas pedal."
ASU took care of business in doubles to gain an early 1-0 lead over Cal Poly.
