The best thing to come out of last week for Arizona State women's basketball was the offensive play of senior posts Kianna Ibis and Charnea Johnson-Chapman.
That's aside from two wins, of course, neither of which would have occurred without Ibis finding her shooting stroke late at Utah then carrying it over against Colorado.
Johnson-Chapman and Ibis combined for 23 points and 14 rebounds in a 65-63 win over Utah with Ibis hitting back-to-back 3-pointers to erase a six-point deficit in the closing 90 seconds. Then Ibis had a season high 27 points against Colorado on 10-of-18 shooting with Johnson-Chapman adding eight, and teamed up for 13 boards.
