AUSTIN, Texas – No. 18 Sun Devil Men's Tennis fell 6-1 to No. 1 Texas in Sunday's road contest. Despite the loss, doubles came out on top for ASU after a hard-fought battle on court one secured the doubles point, and an early Sun Devil lead. ASU has now earned the doubles point in all three matches this season.
Slovenian duo Bor Artnank and Matic Dimic's win over Texas' seventh-ranked doubles pair in the ITA polls was a bright spot for ASU. Their 7-5 victory secured the doubles point in the match, while Tanner Povey and Daniel Phillips improved to 3-0 together on the season after a win from the second position.
