Instead, the Bruins scored twice in the first eight minutes on a hot afternoon at Sun Devil Soccer Stadium on the way to a 4-1 victory.
“They were the better team,” ASU coach Grant Winkworth said. “They started in a different system so they threw something we weren’t expecting at us, and we did not handle that very well. I was disappointed with our ability to get stuck in that first half.
