LAWRENCE, Kan. – Perhaps the most amazing part of Arizona State’s unbeaten start is that coach Bobby Hurley has done it with just seven scholarship players. The No. 16 Sun Devils were short-handed to start, but injuries and transfer rules haven’t helped.
Entering Sunday’s clash at No. 2 Kansas, the Sun Devils will get help at perhaps the best time.
Mickey Mitchell, a 6-foot-7 sophomore forward, is eligible for the first time since transferring to ASU in December of last season.
