SEATTLE – The No. 10 Arizona State women’s basketball team was upset by California, 75-64, in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament on Friday afternoon.
The Sun Devils (25-6), who shot 36 percent for the game, were led by Sophie Brunner, who had her fifth double-double of the season (14 points, 11 rebounds), and Kianna Ibis, who scored a career-high 14 points. Also scoring in double figures for the Sun Devils was Elisha Davis, who had 10 points and five assists.
Cal (15-16) shot 69 percent and had three players – Kristine Anigwe (24 points), Penina Davidson (17) and Asha Thomas (16) – combine for 57 of its 75 points.
