TUCSON, Ariz. – With four new pairs teaming up for the first time this season, Arizona State beach volleyball cruised to a 5-0 win against Washington on Sunday in the Pac-12 South Tournament.
The Sun Devils (3-3, 1-2 Pac-12) finish the tournament with a 1-2 record after picking up a win against the Huskies. This is the second sweep of the season for ASU, the other coming against New Mexico.
Courts three, four and five sparked the sweep with first-set wins after the top two dropped their opening sets. The three would continue their strong play to get sweeps on three, four and five.
