LOS ANGELES - Carlan Naisant and Alizee Minard both etched their names into the history books Friday on day one of the Pac-12 Championships in Los Angeles. Competing at Southern California's Katherine B. Loker Stadium, Naisant and Minard both earned the first conference javelin crowns in Arizona State history. Naisant went 69.04m/226-6 on his sixth throw, while Minard went 55.31m/181-5 on her second - her throw also breaking the stadium record(54.05m/177-4). ASU is tied for first in the women's scoring after day one with 18 points and sits in fifth in the men's standings (10).
