He entered the day ranked second in the country behind Cal's Mykolas Alekna. Jamar Marshall Jr. (110H, 13.73) and Beatrice Llano (hammer, 67.50m) didn't best their season marks but came close. They each sit second in their respective events. Justin Robinson (200m, 2073) tied for sixth in the NCAA, while freshman Adriana Tatum jumped up to 12th in the country with her 23.
