It’s become apparent during spring football practices at Arizona State that the school’s much-discussed "NFL model" is coming together on the field.
What isn’t immediately clear is how it will affect the future of star wide receiver N'Keal Harry.
The professional influence was all over practice on Tuesday, the first day players worked out in full pads under coach Herman Edwards.
Edwards – a former NFL defensive back, head coach and analyst – ran the workout.
Kevin Mawae – a three-time All-Pro and eight-time Pro Bowl center – observed offensive linemen.
Antonio Pierce – a former Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion – instructed the linebackers.
