TEMPE – Sun Devil Soccer wrapped up a three-game homestand to open the season with a scoreless draw against Little Rock on Thursday night at Sun Devil Soccer Stadium. Heavy rain and lightning delayed the game by nearly two hours at the start.
Once the action began, Arizona State (1-0-2) controlled much of the action. The home side attempted 22 shots in the game and earned 11 corner kicks. Despite those opportunities, ASU only managed seven shots on goal.
The Sun Devils' two best chances came in the second half. A shot from in the 71st minute hit the right post, and then deflected a cross over the top of the crossbar in the 80th minute.
