Former Arizona State quarterback Mike Bercovici, who spent this past season as a graduate assistant on coach Herm Edwards’ staff with the Sun Devils, is joining the Arizona Cardinals in an unspecified role, according to a report.
DevilsDigest.com reported Tuesday morning that Bercovici, 27, will be a member of coach Kliff Kingsbury’s staff.
The Cardinals have not yet made any announcement regarding Bercovici and his name is not presently listed anywhere among their list of assistant coaches.
Bercovici signed with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2016 and spent parts of two seasons with the team before briefly joining the Cardinals as a member of the team’s practice squad in 2017.
