Ann Arbor (Mich.) Skyline WR Hunter Rison is the son of ex-Michigan State star and NFL wide receiver Andre Rison. The Spartans were the first program to offer the younger Rison back in April, and he elected to follow in his father’s footsteps by committing to Michigan State today.

The 5-foot-11, 183-pound Rison is the Spartans’ first commitment for the 2017 class.

Blessed to announce that I have committed to the University of Michigan State #GoGreen

Rison also held offers from Akron, Central Michigan and Arizona State.
