INDIANAPOLIS – No. 15 Arizona State kicked off their weekend at the 2017 NCAA DI Men's Swimming & Diving championships on a high note as the 800 free relay started a full slate of competition for the Sun Devils.
"I was pleased that we started the meet on a positive note and scored more points than in the entire meet last year," said head coach Bob Bowman. "Our program of events gets better each day so we are looking forward to tomorrow."
In 15th place, ASU's relay team – Cameron Craig, Patrick Park, Thomaz Martins, and Barkley Perry – finished less than a tenth off the school record set at Pac-12's and earned Honorable Mention All-America status.
