SAMMAMISH, Wash. - A great first day of the first tournament of the year as the Arizona State men's golf team sits in first place heading into final round Sunday of the Sahalee Players Championship at Sahalee Country Club.
The Sun Devils are currently first at 10-under 566 (282-284) in front of Pepperdine who currently sit at 5-under 571 (284-287). ASU leads the field with 39 birdies and the best scoring average on the par 5's at 16-under.
The defending individual champion, Preston Summerhays, tops the leaderboard after going 6-under 139 (71-67) through two rounds.
