LOS ANGELES - After 34 long years, there's a new name atop ASU's 110H list. Freshman Jamar Marshall Jr. knocked off Andrew Parker's record 13.51 time with a 13.49 prelim performance Saturday afternoon at Southern California's Katherine B. Loker Stadium. Marshall's time was the fastest in the qualifying round and ties the best conference performance in the event from the 2019 season.
If Marshall can repeat his performance Sunday in the finals, it'll be the first sub-13.50 time the conference has seen in a final since USC's Aleec Harris in 2014 (13.35). Parker holds both of ASU's two 110H conference titles, earning them back-to-back in 1986 and '87.
