Marquette landed a key verbal commitment Tuesday night, as American Fork (UT) wing Brendan Bailey, a top -75 prospect, announced his verbal commitment to the program. Bailey, a skilled wing, was previously pledged to Arizona State (under their previous staff).
Bailey joins in-state wing Sam Hauser in the class for Marquette to date. There won’t be a conflict with Hauser and Bailey over playing time at the “3”, though, as Bailey reportedly will embark on a two-year church mission prior to matriculating to Marquette.
The latest in a string of successes on the recruiting trail for head coach Steve Wojciechowski and company at Marquette, Bailey has tremendous size and length, the ability to hit long range shots, and a solid all-around skill game.
