Marissa Schuld, a two-time Arizona Gatorade high school softball Player of the Year, is transferring from Arizona to Arizona State.
Schuld, a pitcher-outfielder from Scottsdale, played two seasons at UA and has two years of eligibility remaining.
She was primarily a designated player this year, hitting .350 with a .525 slugging percentage. In 2019, she was 2-0 on the mound with a 0.48 earned run average.
At Phoenix Pinnacle High School, Schuld was 11-1 with a 0.74 ERA as a senior while hitting .574 with 57 RBI and 16 home runs (1.252 slugging percentage) on a state 6A championship team.
