Likens was wide receivers coach in 2017 under offensive coordinator Billy Napier, now head coach at Louisiana. What they put in place is largely carrying over with Likens in his new position and Herm Edwards now head coach.
"It takes a year and sucks a lot of your energy out just kidding the kids to understand how to practice properly," Likens said Thursday after ASU's second spring practice. "Being freakishly detailed oriented with the way you practice.
