Manhattan, KS – Down but never out, Sun Devil Women's Tennis (11-5, 6-2 Big 12) defeated Kansas State (7-7, 3-3 Big 12) 4-3 by winning four of the last five singles matches Sunday afternoon at Mike Goss Tennis Stadium, completing a 3-1 comeback.
Freshman Lily Taylor clinched the victory for the Sun Devils in three hard-fought sets. It's her first win coming in three sets this season and her seventh win of the year defeating Maria Santos 4-6, 6-0, 6-4. The win gives the Sun Devils their sixth victory in conference play.
For the Sun Devils, it's their second win this season when losing the doubles point, and the team moves to 8-1 when Sara Svetac and Karin Altori win their doubles match.
