LOS ANGELES - It looked like the ASU men's basketball team was playing itself off the NCAA Tournament bubble. The Sun Devils had won five of their last six and came in with a convincing win over UCLA on Thursday, but coach Bobby Hurley's squad couldn't complete the elusive road sweep and was dealt a 69-68 loss by USC on Saturday at the Galen Center.
The Sun Devils came in tied for second place in the Pac-12 with Arizona right behind Washington, with USC right on their heels. ASU was looking for its first conference road sweep since 2010 but it wasn't to be.
