PHOENIX – Late game heroics from and helped propel the Sun Devil Baseball team past UCLA, 5-4, on Saturday night in Phoenix, Ariz.
Lane, batting clean-up for the first time this season, went 3-for-4 on the evening and drove in the winning run in the seventh inning while Lin went 2-for-3 with his first career homer - sparking the Sun Devil rally twice in the contest with clutch two-out hitting. The duo finished the day 5-of-7 with three RBIs and two runs scored while ASU as a team was 7-of-15 with two outs with all of their runs coming of the two-out rally variety.
