TEMPE – Riding a two-game winning streak, Sun Devil Lacrosse (5-5, 1-1 Pac-12) dropped their conference home opener 16-7 on Saturday against No. 17 USC (8-3, 2-0). The Trojans built a first-half lead that was too much for ASU to overcome.
Despite the defeat, the Sun Devils had standout performances from their bench. Sophomore Jordyn Behar was the star of the game, tallying three points from two goals and one assist after taking the field in the second quarter. Graduate Katie Haley scored moments after getting substituted into the game in the first half.
