TEMPE – Arizona State lacrosse (3-2) opened their two-game homestand against ranked opponents with a heartbreaking 10-9 defeat to No. 6 Michigan (5-0) on Tuesday at Sun Devil Soccer/Lacrosse Stadium. ASU led 90 seconds into the game up until the final three minutes of the fourth quarter, after a five-goal frame for the Wolverines, and fell just short of pulling off the upset.
