STANFORD, Calif. – For the first time in program history, Sun Devil Lacrosse earned a victory at the Pac-12 Conference Lacrosse Tournament.
Arizona State (10-5, 5-4) defeated California, 17-9, at Stanford Stadium to advance to the semifinal round. The Sun Devils will now take on No. 1 seed and tournament host Stanford tomorrow at 4 pm MST on Pac-12 Network.
Head Coach 's team controlled play from the start, jumping out to a 9-3 halftime lead and cruising their way to another victory over the Golden Bears. The defensive unit was sharp from the first whistle, shutting down the Golden Bears attack with the help of goalkeeper .
