LAS VEGAS – Kodi Justice scored a career-high 28 points and Arizona State out-muscled Kansas State in the second half to post a 92-90 win Thursday in the Continental Tire Invitation at Orleans Arena.
The crowd-pumping, fist-clutching Justice showed off his shot-making, hitting 9 of 10 from the field, including all four of his 3-point tries. He hit step-back jumpers in the lane, walked into 3-point jumpers and banked a slick left-handed drive while drawing a foul.
ASU (5-0) advances to Friday's championship against No. 15 Xavier, which beat George Washington on Thursday. Tip-off is scheduled 3:30 p.
