Kianna Ibis had six points and two assists in the final five minutes Sunday, helping No. 22 Arizona State women’s basketball put away Colorado to end a three-game losing streak.
Ibis, a 6-1 junior, finished with 24 points, six rebounds and three assists in the 73-59 victory at Wells Fargo Arena. It was her fifth 20-point game, all but one in Pac-12 play.
“It was a good redemption game” for Ibis and center Charnea Johnson-Chapman, ASU coach Charli Turner Thorne said. Johnson-Chapman, a 6-3 junior, had 12 rebounds, tying her career high.
In a 58-56 loss to Utah on Friday, Ibis scored seven points and Johnson-Chapman had seven boards.
