TEMPE, Ariz. - Sun Devil Football student-athlete Nick Kelly has been named to the 2015 Fall Watch List for the Rimington Trophy, awarded to the most outstanding center in NCAA Div. I football, the trophy committee announced Tuesday.
Kelly, a senior from Orangevale, Calif., started all 13 games in 2014 and was named a co-captain this past spring. He earned 2014 Second Team All-Pac-12 and Second Team Pac-12 All-Academic honors after he made his first career start in the season opener against Weber State.
He played an integral role in helping Arizona State tally more than 5,700 yards of total offense in 2014, including 1,000-yard rusher D.
