Kalen Ballage headlines crop of ASU football players selected in NFL draft

In the recent past, Arizona State hasn't had the best relationship with the NFL draft. There's been a little flirting, but not much else.

Last year the Sun Devils didn't have an offensive or defensive player selected, an embarrassment Vice President of Athletics Ray Anderson brought up shortly after firing previous coach Todd Graham.

Perhaps this year's draft is a positive step.

The Miami Dolphins selected running back Kalen Ballage in Saturday's fourth round, the 131st overall player off the board. Ballage was one of three ASU players selected, making this the program's most productive draft in three years.
