OKLAHOMA CITY - Sophomore pitcher Giselle "G" Juarez earned yet another award to her record-setting 2018 season, this time notching First-Team All-America honors from the NFCA.
The NFCA Division I All-America softball teams are selected from the pool of players who earned first team All-Region recognition by Division I head coaches representing the NCAA regions.
Juarez joins a long list of First-Team All-Americans, with the last being Amber Freeman in 2015. The last Sun Devil pitcher to be named an All-American was Dallas Escobedo in 2014. With her first team nod today, Juarez becomes the 25th First-Team honoree in ASU softball history.
