Boulder, Colo.—Arizona State’s Noemi Jimenez is in second place after the first round of the 2015 Pac-12 Women’s Golf Championships. The senior shot a 2-under 69 at the par-71, 6,407-yard Boulder Country Club on Monday.
Jimenez, who was named the 2015 Pac-12 Women’s Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year on Sunday evening, is one of four players to sink an eagle putt in first round action. Jimenez sits two strokes back from Oregon’s Caroline Inglis, who leads the 55-player field. Inglis posted a 4-under 67, carding five birdies on the day.
