Arizona State football held its third spring practice Thursday and first outdoors at Kajikawa practice fields. The Sun Devils practiced in the Dickey Dome on Monday and Tuesday due to wet fields.

Co-defensive coordinator Marvin Lewis took his turn speaking to the media following head coach Herm Edwards on Monday and offensive coordinator Zak Hill on Tuesday.
The former NFL head coach and Antonio Pierce are now in charge of a defense shifting to a four-man front after running a 3-3-5 base defense under former coordinator Danny Gonzales, now head coach at New Mexico.
