TEMPE, Ariz. – On a gray, chilly day, the Sun Devils were on fire.
Sheila McInerney's squad swept both Colorado State and New Mexico State, 4-0, on Saturday at the Whiteman Tennis Center to begin the season 3-0 for the third time in the last four seasons.
The Sun Devils have made quick work of their first three opponents this spring, as neither Northern Arizona, Colorado State or New Mexico State have registered a single point yet. Both contests on Saturday had abandoned singles matches, simply because the Sun Devils were quick to clinch wins both times.
