How ASU's Romello White has worked to solve his struggles at the foul line

BERKELEY, Calif. – Late in Wednesday’s loss, Arizona State senior guard Kodi Justice drove baseline and knocked knees with a Stanford defender. Justice was fouled but he had to leave the game. That meant Stanford coach Jerod Haase could choose the shooter from the ASU players on the court.

Smart move.

In his first five Pac-12 games, White had shot 43.8 percent from the foul line. For the most part, the redshirt-freshman forward had struggled with his free throws all season. To try to find consistency, he has changed his routine. He has altered his release. It’s been an issue all season.
