TEMPE, Ariz.—Arizona State University’s student athletes Shelby Houlihan (Track & Field and Cross Country) and Taylor Kelly (Football) were selected as the recipients of the 2014-15 Pac-12 Tom Hansen Conference Medal of Honor, the league announced on Tuesday.
The Conference Medal is awarded annually at each institution to the outstanding senior male and female student-athletes who exhibit “the greatest combination of performance and achievement in scholarship, athletics, and leadership”.
Houlihan, who received her degree in May 2015 in business and computational math sciences, finished her four-year Sun Devil career as a 12-time All-American, the second-most in program history.
