With the success of redshirt freshman forward Romello White over the last two weeks, it's been easy to overlook senior guard Tra Holder.
It shouldn't be.
On Sunday, he led ASU over UC Irvine 99-78 by posting a career-high 35 points- 19 in the first half - on 13-of-15 shooting.
He went 6-7 behind the ark, including an and-one, a buzzer beater from the Sparky logo and a shot that ended with him shrugging at toward head coach Bobby Hurley.
Holder finished with five assists, but the passes that didn't show up on the stat sheet were more impressive than the ones that did.
