TEMPE, Ariz. -- For the first time in program history, Sun Devil Hockey is a consensus top-10 ranked program in the two college hockey national polls – the USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls.
ASU came in at No. 10 in each poll, falling from No. 9 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, while climbing from No. 11 in the USCHO.com poll.
The highest the Sun Devils ever reached last season was No. 11 in the USCHO poll and No. 10 in the USA Today poll the week of Feb. 18, 2019. At the time, the team was 21-10-1 on their way to the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament run.
