Sun Devil men's golf emerged victorious in record-breaking fashion from four strokes down to win the Las Vegas regional, shooting 21-under, 805 (65-67-67-68=267/-21) to outpace No. 8 Stanford by two Strokes, shooting 59-under for the tournament led by Preston Summerhays' magnificent round of 65, including Josele Ballester's and Michael Mjaaseth rounds of 67 to place them in the top-10 to secure victory at Bear's Best Las Vegas Wednesday afternoon.
It marks the team's ninth regional victory, tying Texas for second-most all-time and the second consecutive year Arizona State has claimed a regional title after winning the Stockton regional in 2022 by ten strokes shooting 38-under as a team while also besting Stanford.
