TEMPE – Arizona State Sophomore Tommi Hintnaus cleared 4.02m/13-2.25 feet Friday at the Mt. T's Invitational to jump into the top-10 in school history in the indoor women's pole vault.
Hintnaus had already topped her personal best and was one of two collegiate women left in the event by the time the bar was set at 3.92m/12-10.25 feet. She would go on to clear that mark on her second attempt then jump 13 feet on her third attempt to eventually finish fourth in the event overall.
Her mark put her into a tie for fifth in school history and it is the fifth-best mark in the MPSF this season.
