Arizona State University new head football coach Herm Edwards has a lower base salary than fired coach Todd Graham, but his proposed contract is loaded with incentives that could almost double his $2 million guaranteed salary.
The former NFL coach is eligible for incentive pay of up to $3.7 million a year if the team makes postseason play and also if football players perform well in the classroom.
